Trying to get a 22″ tv/monitor before Christmas.

Hi folks,

              Just to let you all know that i have decided to try and get myself a new monitor/tv for Christmas. I decided to go for the LG 22 Inch Widesceen TFT Monitor Including Digital TV Tuner, you can get this for just 11 referrals from select.FreebieJeebies plus as an added bonus i added the 2 disc blu-ray edition of The Dark Knight to my basket to see how many more referrals it would be and to my amazement it stayed the same, So all this for just 11 Referrals.

 I’ll be posting here every week to keep you updated with how i’m doing with this project.

I thought i would keep a diary on here for the new site i am starting gifts.freebiejeebies. I signed up when they were offering Free offer credit so thats a bonus now just 15 refs to get my iphone:)

ill keep this page updated with my progress. here is a screenshot of my empty account at the starting point today.

23/04/08 Progress update

I am making good progress with the iphone I now have 9 complete and 6 pending which is pretty good for around 130 sign ups, i hope to be able to verify in the next couple of weeks and ill will post again then

01/05/08 Progress update

most of my pendings have been validated so i have enough to go through validation ! I have clicked verify - I may lose a few greens during this process as is normally the case but i will continue to collect more refs and hopefully i can get a few more greens to cover this.

15/05/08 COMPLETE !!!!

After losing a couple of greens I collected a couple more and re verified and was approved and processed within a week - was hoping to post pictures of the iphone but due to stock shortages i was sent a bank transfer instead, here is a screenshot of my account after i was verified

Hi folks,

I thought i would write this diary on the progress I’m making on my quest to get a free iphone.

I started working on getting an iphone for myself back in November 2007, I know this seems a long time but you will learn that freebie hunting needs patience. After what seemed like an age finally on Saturday the 8th of march i had all the referrals that i needed (12 ) to get my 8gb iphone, So off i went to complete my own offer so that i can claim my iphone.

When i logged on to the site on the Sunday to complete my offer i noticed that they had added the 16gb iphone to the site for only 2 more referrals (14), So i have now decided to wait a little bit longer and go for the 16gb version.

As it stands at the moment i have 13 referrals with 1 more referral pending plus I’m still waiting for my own offer to credit, This can take  up to 5 working days but if it still hasn’t credited after 5 days  this can be easily rectified by submitting a support ticket to the freebie network.

I’m going to sign off just now but as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say “I’ll be back”

iPhone update 16/3/08

It has now been 7 days since i completed my own offer (skillground) and i have still not received my credit, So i have sent a support ticket with all the relevant info and screenshots.

If giveaway stay true to form then i should have a reply on Wednesday :)

Just checked my status on my iPhone and my own offer has been manually credited :)

All i have to do is wait on my last referral to go green, This is a trade I’m doing so it should green soon, Then i can get my account verified.

I have just completed my last trade and hit the verify button, So fingers crossed all my referrals go through ok on Sunday.

iPhone update 23/3/08

Well i just checked my iPhone.giveaway account and one of my referrals has been put on hold :( so its back to looking for my last referral. As this is the last verifications this month it means that i will miss out on my free iPhone this month but i will get it next month if i get my last referral.

As always i will keep you up to date with my progress :)

Ps I could have just changed my gift to the 8gb iphone and got that instead but i will be patient and wait another month and get the 16gb iPhone, And who knows maybe by then they will have released the 3g version of the iPhone by then :)

iPhone update 24/3/08

The good news is that i now have all 14 referrals again :) the bad news is that i have to wait till the 13/4/08 till the next verification :( so all being well i’ll have my brand spanking new 16gb iPhone by the beginning of May.

The time is 22.45 and i have just sailed through verification this time my 16gb iPhone should be with me on the 2nd of May.

Well folks today was the day i got my shiney new 16gb iPhone from iPhone.giveaway.

It took me 5 minutes to unlock it and i haven’t stopped using it since.

You really need to get one of these phones. 

My First Freebie

Well, like most that start freebie hunting, I was very sceptical. Surely no-one is going to give away a free PSP are they?
After clicking the link, I was presented with the front page of Real-Incentives. Complete one offer and refer a few friends, sounds simple enough! I signed up, and then saw the offers page. So here’s the catch! I almost closed the browser, but then noticed the free Lovefilm trial offer. “I’ve got nothing to lose” I thought to myself and signed up to the DVD rental trial.

Now for the hard part. A PSP from Real-Incentives was 7 referrals. I got a few (also sceptical, but willing nonetheless) family members and friends to do it, but still needed more. I got the idea from a man on ebay, so why not try that myself? I did and managed to get loads of referrals, and greens too. A word of warning: ebay have now outlawed this method, and will actively suspend or delete any accounts that try it.

Around a month or so after signing up, I had 12 greens, enough for an Xbox 360, so I clicked the ‘Verify’ button and waited patiently. And waited. And waited some more. After about another 3 weeks, I checked my account to find that I had lost 6 greens! Gutted! After the disappointment, I managed to get another green through a trade on the Grab4Free forum. I clicked verify again.

The wait this time was shorter, around 2 weeks. I checked my account one day to see a new box appear: “Your account has been verified, you may now order your item”, which I quickly did.

About 2 weeks later, I came home from work, and there was a card for a missed delivery on the doormat. I rushed down to the Post Office, and there it was - my very first freebie. I was chuffed to say the least, and proved many doubters (Including myself) wrong.

Overall, I would rate the service of Real-Incentives as good. At times the support ticket responses were slow, but this seems to have been addressed lately.
