For anyone that hasn’t seen my post in the forum I have had a pretty bad week or so getting refs on freebiejeebies. After redesigning the front page of Grab4Free I noticed that my referrals had suddenly dried up I initially put it down to the changes i had made to the site then became more and more convinced something was up it and was only when i got a friend to sign up via one of my links i realised I was right and my links were not tracking referrals :(.
I spoke to some other freebie regulars and found out that Freebiejeebies had changed the linking structure from the old stlye format which looked like
http://consoles.freebiejeebies.co.uk?id=1234
and replaced them with
http://console.freebiejeebies.co.uk/1234
now as it turns out these changes were made a few months ago and both style of links were still supported and it was only last week or so that support for the old style link was accidentally turned off !
I have lost a fair number of greens over this oversight on freebiejeebies behalf - so make sure you check that you are all using the correct link structure!
