Grab4 while I understand you have expenses, are our sites really any real threat?
I wasn't here when you chose to implement this rule, but I just find it odd that me having one link somewhere on the forum asking for opinions will take away some referrals from you. I'm not asking for permission to have it in our signatures, since it would be abusive, but to ask the community what they think about their new website.

I can see this from both sides, but ultimately those who use this forum are simply guests of the person who owns the domain. If the host introduces 'house rules' you can either accept them and comply or choose not to and find alternative forums with different house rules.

they are the rules and i cant bend them on a case by case basis - we used to allow links to other sites but it was being abused so we stopped it
