Hi folks,

I thought i would write this diary on the progress I’m making on my quest to get a free iphone.

I started working on getting an iphone for myself back in November 2007, I know this seems a long time but you will learn that freebie hunting needs patience. After what seemed like an age finally on Saturday the 8th of march i had all the referrals that i needed (12 ) to get my 8gb iphone, So off i went to complete my own offer so that i can claim my iphone.

When i logged on to the site on the Sunday to complete my offer i noticed that they had added the 16gb iphone to the site for only 2 more referrals (14), So i have now decided to wait a little bit longer and go for the 16gb version.

As it stands at the moment i have 13 referrals with 1 more referral pending plus I’m still waiting for my own offer to credit, This can take  up to 5 working days but if it still hasn’t credited after 5 days  this can be easily rectified by submitting a support ticket to the freebie network.

I’m going to sign off just now but as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say “I’ll be back”

iPhone update 16/3/08

It has now been 7 days since i completed my own offer (skillground) and i have still not received my credit, So i have sent a support ticket with all the relevant info and screenshots.

If giveaway stay true to form then i should have a reply on Wednesday :)

Just checked my status on my iPhone and my own offer has been manually credited :)

All i have to do is wait on my last referral to go green, This is a trade I’m doing so it should green soon, Then i can get my account verified.

iPhone update 22/3/08

I have just completed my last trade and hit the verify button, So fingers crossed all my referrals go through ok on Sunday.

iPhone update 23/3/08

Well i just checked my iPhone.giveaway account and one of my referrals has been put on hold :( so its back to looking for my last referral. As this is the last verifications this month it means that i will miss out on my free iPhone this month but i will get it next month if i get my last referral.

As always i will keep you up to date with my progress :)

Ps I could have just changed my gift to the 8gb iphone and got that instead but i will be patient and wait another month and get the 16gb iPhone, And who knows maybe by then they will have released the 3g version of the iPhone by then :)

iPhone update 24/3/08

The good news is that i now have all 14 referrals again :) the bad news is that i have to wait till the 13/4/08 till the next verification :( so all being well i’ll have my brand spanking new 16gb iPhone by the beginning of May.

The time is 22.45 and i have just sailed through verification this time my 16gb iPhone should be with me on the 2nd of May.

Well folks today was the day i got my shiney new 16gb iPhone from iPhone.giveaway.

It took me 5 minutes to unlock it and i haven’t stopped using it since.

You really need to get one of these phones.

Points.Freebiejeebies is classed as a DIY referal site.

In other words to get your gift you must complete all the offers yourself, You can also gain points by getting your friends to sign up through your unique referral link.

The Giveaway network have announced the following changes on their sites: 

They have replaced the 1Gb shuffles with the 2GB version on iPodShuffleGiveaway for the same 2 referrals.

They have added the 32GB iPod Touch to iPodsGiveaway for 14 referrals.

They have added the 16GB iPhone to iPhone.Giveaway for 14 referrals.  

They have added the 16GB iPhone, 16GB Touch and 32GB Touch to iStuff.Giveaway for 14, 12 and 14 referrals respectively.

They have also lowered their  Xbox360 referal rates as follows:

360 Premium is now just 9 referrals on their console sites - GameConsole, NextGen and 360Giveaway.

360 Elite is now just 11 referals on GameConsole and NextGenGiveaway

Are you new to the freebie scene?

Are you finding it hard trying to convince people that the freebie scene works?

In my opinion the best way to get your first freeebie is to start small, Why not go for a ipod shuffle for only 2 referals on apple.freebiejeebies not only do they have the shuffle they also have a great selection of apple products all at various referal rates.

Once you have signed up and completed your own offer why not ask your friends and family to sign up under your referal link and complete an offer for you, Don’t worry if your offer doesn’t credit straight away as some offers have a pending state (the love film offer is a two week pending). If you think that you should have received your credit but haven’t then all you do is open a support ticket and it will soon be resolved (Freebiejeebies has one of the best support teams of all the freebie networks).
Once you have your free shuffle you can now show it to everyone who thought you wouldn’t get it and maybe this will convice them that the freebie scene does work.

Did you think you where finished? One thing to remember when you sign up to a freebie site is to check out their terms and conditions, Some of the most common mistakes that people make are

1) You can’t refer yourself ie: Don’t sign up under your own link under a different e-mail address, You will be found out and you won’t receive your gift.

2) Only one person per household is allowed to sign up to the site, So if any of your family sign up under your link they must stay at a different address.

3) Any Friends and family who sign up under your link must do it from their own computers as ip addresses are recorded and any multiple sign ups from the one ip address will be deemed to be fraud and you may not receive your gift.
